Avene usually doesn't let me down, so I'm having high hopes for this. It feels nice and is easy to apply, but it will be many months before I'll see the final result (using on a recent surgical scar). Great ingredients, but may want to alternate with pure silicone, which my doctor suggested using.

I first purchased this last year when I had a bad bout of winter eczema on my hands from cold weather and frequent hand washing. It was *everything* I could want in a hand lotion: a rich, creamy texture, which absorbed quickly, and left my hands feeling soothed and well-moisturized. Within a week my eczema cleared up, and as long as I continued to use this nightly, it stayed away. Since then, it appears that Avene has reformulated the Eczema Relief Balm with more Dimethicone. I no longer have the original product, so I can't be completely sure, but I immediately noticed that the newer product has more "slip" to it, and leaves my hands feeling as if they have invisible silicone coating on them. It's not bad and still seems to be effective, but it doesn't have the same luxurious feel it once did. That said, it's still a great product, and I continue to recommend it to friends who are suffering with chapped hands and eczema.

I love Avene especially this line. The smell is fabulous. When it comes to this one, I think you can save money by purchasing their micellar water and putting it in a foaming pump bottle. It would be exactly this product I’m pretty sure. I’m going to try it when I run out because I already have the big bottle of the water.

I found that I really like this cream for use at night. It goes on very well after my tretinoin is applied and keeps my skin hydrated throughout the night. It is also not greasy. I do find all the fragrance overwhelming as in the cleanser. However I believe I will repurchase this cream again as I like the effects it has on my skin. The only reason for the 4 stars is the fragrance.

This eye cream goes on smooth and is moisturizing. It isn’t sticky or greasy. It’s comparable to some drug store brands I’ve used in the past, but a lot more expensive. Not worth the price. … more
