White cast!

This is a thin somewhat runny formula. It is moisturizing, but the very visible white film it leaves behind is what put me off. I was so excited to receive this but horrified when I saw that the milk white product does not dissipate. I thought it would sink into my lips and disappear, but nope, it sits on the lips. It is unsightly so I cannot use this during the day, I can only use it at night right before bed. It gets two stars because it is moisturizing.

I am impressed! I had several samples from Avene and very impressed with results. I use matt lipsticks which tend to be drying. I apply the product sometimes under the lipstick and sometimes over the lipstick and sometimes at bedtime. It helps keep my lips moist.

This is delightful stuff. It consists of an odorless tasteless cream. A small amount applied to the bottom lip is enough for the whole mouth. It is both soothing and healing and a great base for lipstick. It is expensive for the amount in the tube but worth it for those of us with very dry lips.
