Must buy!

I’ve used the liquid version of Bare Mineral Complexion Rescue for years. This foundation stick is so much better but keeps with the wonderful orignal formulation. I find it more mattifying while still being super creamy. I have dry sensitive skin and this os perfect. Semi-buildable, more so than the liquid version. I love that it still shows the character of my face while helping blend out my rosy complexion.

First use I was pleased with the coverage and thought this would be a daily product for me. After using it for a few weeks I found myself choosing it less frequently because the texture in the tube is mushy, it does not glide on my skin, an applicator is necessary. Coverage is decent, color ok but I find the texture is sticky.

Nice coverage and with SPF, too

I usually use (and love!) bareMinerals Complexion Rescue gel cream and thought that I would try the Foundation stick. The stick is a bit heavier, but blends well seems to provide better coverage than the gel cream. I am currently using it along with the gel cream in areas where I need a little better coverage to hide imperfections.

Great for Mature Skin

I’m a bit of a foundation junkie and try any out there for dry and mature skin. So I’m comparing this against dozens of foundations. I am NW 15 in coloring and Opal 01 is a great match for me Fall through Spring. I might need to look for the next shade darker in the summer. While I have 2 other favorite foundations, this is my favorite for everyday use. I apply it with stripes and then pat it in with a makeup sponge. Then I finish it off with a light dusting of Jane Iredale pressed powder. The finish is very natural - skin like but evened out. It holds up great and offers sun protection. The stick format makes it simple to apply and carry in your purse if you do need to touch up. I also am happy that it has no fragrance. I can’t recommend this enough for those with dry and mature skin. I like it so much that I’ve purchased extras for backups. Yes, you can blame me for Opal being backordered. LOL

Favorite Foundation

I’ve been looking for a light makeup product that evens out my skin tone and stays on all day. I’ve found it in this complexion stick.
