Surprisingly good primer

Nice color tinted primer. I can wear alone or under my makeup. It really keeps makeup from settling into lines and is not greasy or shiny. Nice feel on the face, light and with a 30 SPF I don't have to wear sun screen underneath. It is very affordable and I wasn't expecting much do to it's price but am very pleasantly surprised. Would definitely buy again.

A new favorite that may soon become a staple

The bareMinerals Prime Time BB Primer is a recent discovery and a new favorite. I love that it works well as a primer, and also as a BB cream it blurs imperfections and makes the skin look smooth and clear. It works wonderfully as a primer, but I often use it even when I am not applying makeup on top of it, because it works so well as a BB cream. Over the years I have found that it’s very difficult for me to find a decent primer for my skin, it’s dehydrated but also acne-prone and oily. This is the one primer that my skin seems to like, so I will continue using it and make it my staple. For me the design of the bottle is also travel-friendly, as I can fit it easily into a small toiletry bag, its hard plastic exterior is easy to sanitize with a spritz of rubbing alcohol in the age of COVID, and I don’t have to worry about bacteria getting into it.

Prime Time

I am very pleased with this product. Have a tip for people using it. Use a facial sponge, spray the Bare Minerals on the sponge take the prime off of the sponge with fingers and apply to the face. You will never waste this product again squirting all over the place. Finally, take the sponge with remaining product and use to smooth all over the face. This works remarkably well.

I have used this primer for years. It is lightweight and provides lasting sunblock protection, despite my oily skin. I use bareMinerals powders and foundations over the primer, and periodically blot when I'm shiny. Overall, this is a great product for the price and performance.

Packaging is the only problem, but a real one

Agree with other reviewers that the packaging will keep me from buying again. OK at first but when you reach the last third you have to open to get the product out. Since it's quite creamy, it's a mess (you need to shake the bottle upside down), and I ended up discarding it because of that, even though there was still quite a lot of product left. Really a shame because the tint (light for me) is perfect, and it sets to a very attractive matte finish, perfect for combination/oily skin. Will buy aging only if it comes in a tube, it's far too thick for a pump dispenser. Ideally a 2 oz. tube so it will last longer.

A fan of BE!
