Bronze pigments deliver subtle warmth and depth to your foundation makeup. With its two physical sunscreen ingredients, non-nano zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, the formula protects skin against harmful UVA and UVB rays. Bronzing Primer SPF 20 also contains vitamin E and beta carotene to help nourish skin and provide antioxidant protection. Oat beta glucan and hydrolyzed rice protein soothe and hydrate.

Replaces my foundation

I’ve been using this product for a few years and love how it looks on my face. It gives my skin an even tone without looking fake and I don’t use a foundation over it. It provides great sun protection which I count on when I go to the beach, bike and walk outside. The only thing I DON’T like is how it dispenses - especially when it’s running low. I have to pop the top off and scoop it out so I get every ounce of this product.

Missed the Mark

I enjoy most of the ColoreScience line of products. I was not looking to replace my Colorscience Glow sunscreen, only enhance it with this bronzing primer. It felt very dry and silicone. Wouldn’t work well with all of my foundations- balled/peeled once I started sweating. I will finish the bottle but not repurchase. Not strong enough as a stand alone sunscreen and didn’t care for as a makeup primer.

Excellent primer

I've been using this primer for about ten years now, after first discovering it at a high-end spa. I've pretty much given up using any foundation, as this gives excellent coverage, just enough color, and stays on all day. Sometimes I mix it with their brightening primer to lighten it, and that's a nice produce as well. And when it runs out, I can order it from LovelySkin and it arrives in just a few days. Glad I tried it

This is my first time using a bronzing primer, so I didn't know what to expect. The directions suggest using just a half pump--this amount offered me no glow (my skin tone is fair/light), but a full pump nicely covered my whole face and neck. (A kabuki brush is key for evenly distributing the product in my opinion.) The biggest surprise is the product's texture--it's not liquidy like foundation but has a lot more structure, with a tacky clay feel to it. Despite that, it does go on smoothly and evenly. I used it under my Bare Minerals compressed powder foundation, and the color is just right for me. I will buy again. Four stars instead of five because I just can't believe the half pump in the directions would work for most people.
