Doesn't look greasy on!

I am on my 4th purchase of this sunscreen and it's the best I've tried out of MANY! It goes on light, but quickly blends in so it looks natural. My skin is dry and sensitive, and I have had no issues with this. I feel moisturized, but not greasy or shiny. I would recommend it to anyone with my skin type.

Ordered this on a whim in my search for a good sunscreen my skin can actually tolerate. Most sunscreens irritate - chemical, and I end up with immediate red burning; even some physical ones produce hives and itching and feel too hot and occlusive. Glo Skin Beauty Solar Shade SPF 50 is great! My skin loves this, and I finally have peace of mind that I have found a gentle and effective sunscreen! The ever-so-slight white cast is remedied by mixing in some of my bare minerals tinted gel-moisturizer (which also has spf) in my hand before applying to face, chest, shoulders, arms.... Just perfect!

This sunscreen goes on nice leaves a bit of white cast but you cant avoid that if you really want to block the sun. Used in Aruba and worked great.

Great for outdoor activities, not for under makeup

I thought this was a regular mineral sunscreen but it is not. I would not use this under makeup as it is SUPER thick and leaves a white cast. It is AMAZING for swimming and creating a shield for your skin. I don't know if it claims to be water resistant but it totally is.

White cast

It feels really great on sensitive skin but there is a white cast and I am skin type III. I would say it gets a little drying to. I like to reapply my sunscreen every 2 hours (and don’t like wearing makeup) and felt it continued to get whiter and drier throughout day. I definitely like the chemical spf40 by Glo better (will be great for summer) but it isn’t moisturizing enough for me right now. I had to return as it just wasn’t going to work for me.

Great for sensitive winter skin

I find this great for winter days when you need additional moisture with your spf. I probably wouldn't use it in the summer as it is a little heavy and greasy. It doesn't irritate my rosacea skin. Would recommend.

Acne screen

I waited more than a month to fairly give this sunscreen a shot. I can say this product gave me the kind of pimples that are angry and painful. Besides the zits, the product does leave a noticeable white cast if proper amount is used and does leave a slight tacky feeling through the day. To the positives, this is the most cosmetically elegant spreading sunscreen I have ever used and doesn't feel heavy on the skin. There is high zinc and its not greasy looking. This screen would be perfect for people who wear foundation over it and are not acne prone. For me I will not repurchase.

Great product. I mix it with some serum tint foundation I have and apply as my own bit of tinted moisturizer. Perfect mineral sunscreen

This is my favorite all-mineral sunscreen by far, and I have tried nearly everything out there. Despite the high zinc content, it is not drying. There is a slight white cast, but minimal and it does fade after the product has been on for a few minutes. It gives my skin a pleasantly glowy sheen, though I could understand oilier skin types not caring for that effect. Finally, the number one point in its favor is that it is ultra gentle and has never irritated or flared my rosacea-prone skin. At over $40 for 1.7 oz, I do cringe a little at the price. But so long as I can score some good deals on it at LovelySkin, I will definitely repurchase again and again.
