I bought this alternative to a glycolic acid wash that my dermatologist recommended that was about $10 more expensive and am happy with the results. A little goes a long way! I only wish it came in a pump as I'd accidentally left the top up, the cat tipped it over, and half of the contents spilled out.

The PA at my dermatologist's office says this cleanser is pH balancing. Not sure about the benefits of that but it is an effective cleanser without being irritating. Not noticeable scent if that is a concern.

The best cleanser for burned sensitive skin

I hesitated to buy this cleanser because I didn't see any recommendations or reviews on this product by anyone who had chemically burned and damaged skin. I finally just had to try it out for myself too see if it worked for my problem. It really did help with my chemical burns and helped my skin not scar from the severe burns all over my face. There will be a sting but nothing that's unbearable or irritating to the skin. And I have VERY SENSITIVE SKIN. It's also VERY powerful but gentle enough to use twice daily. This is a great chemical exfoliant for anyone but especially for folks with sensitive skin or chemically damaged skin.

Gentle Exfoliation for Sensitive Skin

I love this cleanser and it has become part of my daily AM cleansing routine. I wash my face with a salicylic wash in the evenings followed by the application of .1% Tazorac for the treatment of a few pesky comedones. Glycolix Gentle Facial Cleanser gently sloths away dead skin cells and dry patches without irritation. I gently massage the GGFC into my skin with a soft wash cloth for added exfoliation results when needed.
