Didn’t notice big difference

So I’ve been using this morning and night for about a month now and I can’t say I’ve noticed a difference in hydration. I add a moisturizer over it as well. Probably wouldn’t repurchase.

Just Okay

My esthetician used this on me after a facial, and it made my skin feel soft, smooth, and dewy. Therefore, I purchased this, thinking it would be a great addition to my daytime skincare routing as a light moisturizer. I am oily, acne-prone, with textured scarring, and someone who also gets regular procedures like chemical peels and microneedling, so I thought this lightweight hydro gel would be great for my skin. After using it over my blemish serum and under my sunscreen and foundation, I realized that it doesn't sufficiently moisturize and sit well under my sunscreen and makeup. I have seen my skin become flaky in some areas, namely my chin and jawline area, and in my cheek area my liquid foundation ends up looking powdery. It only happens when I use this product. As such, I will only recommend this product if you don't plan to wear foundation over it, and if you supplement with additional moisturizer. I will use up the remainder of this product, but I will not be re-purchasing.

Glymed Plus Products Recommended By My Esthetician

My esthetician likes the Glymed Plus line of products so I decided to try their Ultra Hydro Gel because of the hyaluronic acid. It contains more hyaluronic acid (10%) than most other products. Since I have only been using it a couple weeks, the jury is still out on this one. Time will tell. I can say it feels nice on the skin. Not greasy or oily. it absorbs and dries quickly so you can layer your other products on top.

I've had acne prone skin ever since I was in elementary school. With all my prescription antibiotics, finding something to soothe and hydrate my skin has been a challenge. I use this gel morning and night under my moisturizer and I can safely say it's one of the best I've ever tried. It absorbs quickly into your skin and feels super lightweight. Excellent Hydration (it's not a moisturizer!)

Based on the other reviews, it seems some customers think this product is a moisturizer. It's not! Instead, it provides hydration to your skin (i.e. gives your skin a big drink of water). It is meant to be used before a moisturizer. A moisturizer is a sealant that helps retain any hydration you already have in your skin. While most moisturizers also have some hydrating ingredients, Hydro Gel is a substantial supplement to any moisturizer when you need more hydration due to very dry skin or during very harsh winter conditions. If you don't apply moisturizer after using Hydro Gel, it will evaporate from your skin soon after since you need a sealant to keep it in. I love this product because it has no fragrance, is much easier to apply than a serum and it is very effective.

I use this moisturizer after applying GlyMed's Fulvic Elixer. I love how the gel is cool and soothing, and it really does hydrate the skin and keeps in moisture. It feels amazing after exfoliation, and it's not too thick of a moisturizer. I recommend this for ALL skin types!
