I bought this for my daughter who has dirty blonde hair at the roots and light blonde hair at the ends. We have used this repeatedly over the last two weeks on damp hair, and there is no color difference in her hair. We have tried having her go out into the sun and blowdrying. I've sprayed moderately, and I've drenched her hair in it. Nothing has made a difference. I was hoping to lighten her roots without peroxide, but that is definitely not happening with this product. I will say this has made her hair very soft. That's why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1.
