The color is pretty close to my needs. The foundation is not going on smooth when I am done putting the foundation on I cannot clear it to be smooth. So maybe I am doing something incorrect. I would give this product a 3 star rating. I am a fan of her products and loved the BB cream in a tube, and always ordered. I think she may have discontinued the shade I always purchased which was O03. In lieu, I bought this item. The packaging is not consumer friendly and pump does not work well. Tough to get makeup out.

I absolutely love this product! People always compliment my makeup when I wear this foundation. My only complaint is the pump. It's a bit faulty and gets stuck so you have to be very careful with it. The product itself however, is amazing!

not for dry skin

I usually love Jane Iredale products but this foundation did not wow me. I found it a bit thick and difficult to blend on my skin (which tends to be a bit on the dry side). After several attempts to use the foundation and to make myself love this product I decided it would just not work for me. I imagine since it has a matte finish it would be fantastic if your skin is more on the oily side.

Finally!!

Unattractive finish

What I like about Jane products is that they are also a skin treatment. I have used the mineral powder and mineral powder foundation for years and love them both. This product, once applied, seems to sink into the face, emphasizing lines, and the finish is simply not natural or appealing. I am giving two stars only for coverage.

Light coverage

I like this foundation. I find I need to layer it to get the coverage I need. Also, it is best to put it on clean, dry skin (for me), no moisturizer. Those who find it "drying" uh... well, what do you think matte means? I have dry, 62 year old skin, but this works well for me without any primer. It is not moisturizing but just comfortable on my skin. I didn't give it 5 stars because of the coverage, but it does say in the description "medium to light coverage" buildable.
