Laura Geller Baked Balance-n-Brighten Color Correcting Foundation offers simple, effective coverage.

This foundation provides coverage in a comfortable and elegant formula due to unique way it's made. First, liquid pigments are swirled together. Then, the pigments are baked for 24 hours on terracotta tiles before being hand-finished in Italy.

The result is a lightweight powder that self-adjusts to leave skin looking even and flawless. This creation process also allows the foundation to use less filler than traditional powders, providing more coverage with less product.

Color is Good but Texture Too Powdery

By powdery, I mean that it's very loose and dusty when used. I've worn various other brands of foundation powders -- all of which were loose, not in cake form as is the Laura Geller Baked Balance-n-Brighten Color Correcting Foundation -- yet this one is dustier than any of the other brands I've tried. Makes it kind of a mess to apply, and I'm not liking the look as I thought I would. It's not terrible, and the color works pretty well, so I'll use it until gone, probably, but won't buy again.

Easy and effective.

This product gives enough coverage to make your face look smooth . It’s easy and quick to apply . The fair color is exactly my skin color but offers a little less coverage than the light color . I have large pores and they do not become more visible with it , unlike with most other powders. The feel is very light on your skin , I don’t like the feeling of wearing make up, and I don’t even realize I am wearing this one .

Has potential

I wanted to really like the idea of a makeup for aging skin. The previous makeup I used, I felt magnified my wrinkles instead of blurring them. The problem I found with this is the color and application. Sometimes it looks well blended and not splotchy. Other times it looks irregular and does not cover imperfections. I have tried several different brushes to improve application.. I will continue to work on this but wish it was more foolproof.

You need to adjust amount to your liking....

The more I use this product, the more I enjoy it. It has taken some trail and error to figure out how heavy or light I desire the coverage. It goes on smooth and is not oily or shiny. I find it best to allow any moisturizers to absorb fully before starting application in order to get the smoothest coverage.

Truly balances & brightens

I used to use liquid foundation, but switched to this powder for convenience. It has been made so fine that I can apply it with a brush and I virtually "polish" it on. It is so natural looking. I absolutely love this product! I have two shades of this product and use daily with or without liquid foundation. The product glides on with a brush for full coverage, evening out my skin imperfections, camouflages redness, dark spots, and uneven skin tone without caking. An additional bonus is you can travel with it and not worry about how it’s packed in your makeup case. I try to use minimal makeup but I must say this product takes my liquid foundation to a different level when both are applied for special occasions.

This is a keeper!

I was using another brand of powder which I thought was ok but saw this and decided to try it! I’m so glad I did! I ordered the ‘Fair’. I use tinted moisturizer first then the powder although the powder can be used on its own. I am very pleased with how easily it goes on, it most definitely does NOT settle in wrinkles! Excellent powder foundation

I was "influenced" to buy this since my old standby powder foundation was no longer agreeing with my drier skin, and minerals tend to dry me out even more. I am really impressed with this! I have very fair, cool-olive skin and struggle with a lot of shades just being off and having to mix colors. I ordered the shade Porcelain, and when swatched on my wrist, it looked too light, but after applying my vitamin C+E, Vanicream lotion, and Colorscience no-show mineral, it buffed in perfectly with no "pale face" look, and no hint of orangey or yellowish-tones. It seems to last 8+ hours with no touch up, and did not get cakey or settle into pores. It did not feel drying over the course of the day either. I can't comment on how it works over wrinkles since I don't have any, but it is a really nice formula worth a try.
