A blend of amino-based filaggrin antioxidants, Dead sea minerals and vitamin C called afaLUXE™ works to encourage natural exfoliation and cellular turnover while boosting collagen production and skin's barrier functions. Additionally, this powerful, yet gentle formula works to remove dead, dulling cells, minimize the appearance of large pores, fine lines and wrinkles and encourage a soft, smooth texture. Because it is not harsh or abrasive, this treatment product does not leave skin feeling irritated, dry or tight. After a few applications, Exfoliating Gel Mild creates a more refined tone and texture along with a refreshed appearance.

LovelySkin Luxe Exfoliating Gel 11%

I really like these gels, they are very effective. I have used the 9% for a while but I decided to up the ante for the 11%. I use this at night in place of my Retinaldehyde. I alternate nights between the two and honestly I have been noticing more results with this than my Ret product. This stuff plumps the skin and helps minimize the appearance of fine lines. It can tingle upon application but it settles down quickly and is such an easy product to use. You can just put it on and be done. I don’t put anything on top of it or under it. I just wash my face, let it dry, put this on and my eye cream and call it a night. I do have pretty sensitive skin that is oily and acne prone and I have never had a bad reaction to this or the 9%. Definitely recommend this for anyone looking for anti aging benefits or acne issues, it really is a great product.

Gentle Exfoliator

The LovelySkin Luxe Exfoliating Gel Mild 11% is the most gentle Exfoliator I have ever used. It does not make me red at all. No scent to it. Dries down nice. No tacky feel. Absorbs in quick. I originally started by using it once a day (night time). I then went to using it twice a day because I didn’t notice any peeling/sloughing off of my skin. I do not feel dried out at all from it and think I could have used the next strength up. If you have really sensitive skin this is probably the best one to start with, otherwise you might want to consider the next strength up. I will repurchase this product when I’m done with this bottle but I will get the next strength. This is the first product I have purchased from the LovelySkin brand and even though I am very pleased with it, I’m not sure if it’s exfoliating my skin enough. I wished I had a little peeling from it so I could tell that it was working.
