Very effective

As a woman with aging skin that periodically gets a break out, this gel in a bottle is perfection. I prefer skin care not to have an odor to it and this is odorless in my opinion which I like and also it does an amazing job if a blemish appears to very quickly get rid of it in a day or two. It is a bit drying, but that's the point isn't it!? it goes on nice and light and soaks into the skin quickly. I will purchase this again.

Great spot treatment for cystic acne

I bought this for my cystic acne, and it works exceptionally well. Typically, I apply it twice a day for about two days; by then, the pimple is gone. Most of the time, it takes a week or so for my cystic acne to clear after a breakout. I have oily skin, and this did dry it out a bit, but the results are worth it!

Clear skin begins with PCA Acne Treatment Gel

This was a very good choice for those that didn’t want something that would be super irritating. Now keep in mind anything with salicylic acid and other acne fighting products do have a bit of a sting sometimes: this is only for those with super sensitive skin. I had some redness but expected that as I needed to clean out some weir breakouts! The great thing however is salicylic doesn’t dry the oil glands up the way other acne products due. This calms the skin from further blemishes and prevents over production of oil, black heads and white heads. There was a bit of peeling which means that my skin needed to get rid of dead cells that were clogged causing breakouts! If it gets to drying I used the PCA post peel moisturizer as it’s super gentle. Cheers to happier clearer skin!

Really works!

I’ve used numerous salicylic acid serums/gels and while they have been slightly beneficial over time, none have worked immediately. I don’t know what other ingredients in this make it so effective, but this works overnight. Any time I have a few pimples popping up (I get a mix of pustules and super tender hormonal cysts that don’t respond to most treatments) I use this on my entire face and the pimples are greatly reduced the next morning. Amazing product! It does not make my face feel tight and I actually need less moisturizer on top of this when I use it, so it has some moisturizers in it.
