My favorite way to use this product is applying to damp hair right after the shower. My hair gets very dry and this helps it retain moisture. I wouldn't say this product has any outstanding qualities however. I discovered Photo about 4 months ago, and I've been so blown away by the effectiveness of their products. This product in particular didn't blow me away, but that's not to say it's a bad product. If I apply this to dry hair, it can take volume away from hair, so that's why I prefer to apply it to wet hair so it seals in moisture.

It does not leave any drying residue but melts into my hair quickly making it soft and nourished. Even as I use a styling gel on top of it, my hair is not dry.
