This shampoo is very good at maintaining the level of color you have in your hair; however, I rated it a 4-star due to it has zero volumizing effect and my hair is quite fly-away after all is said and done (which may have to do with the matching conditioner). It seems like a great shampoo AND conditioner if the only issue you have is to save your color. If you have various other issues (like flat hair, split ends, etc.) this isn't the pair for you it isn't for me. Thank you.
