Teoxane is a Winner!

I received a Teoxane sample from LovelySkin in the past and noticed a remarkable difference. I couldn't remember if it was the serum or the skin refiner so after reading the reviews, I decided to try the RHA Skin Refiner. I have been using this only at night for a couple of weeks because of my sensitive skin and daytime sun exposure. My skin is smoother, my wrinkles much less noticeable, and less discoloration. I had a lot of redness from decades of sun exposure. I am over 70 and we didn't have the excellent sunscreens available now. Strangely, I have oily skin at my age and have not had to deal with any breakouts. I am very happy with this product. I was a little nervous at first because I never know which product might inflame my face. I am trying a little on the back of my hands at night and it is helping my sun spots. And I keep coming back. I loved it then and I love it now. It's a little pricey so I have limited it to winterPM use. I would use it year round if I could find a less expensive alternative.

Skin That Glows

I have the weird trifecta of aging skin that is oily with acne. So basically I have lines, pimples and makeup slide at the same time. Seriously?!! This is one of the few "moisturizers" I can use than looks and feels good on the skin with causing breakouts or increased oil production. It's meant to be a treatment and I have to say it does give skin a great glow after a few weeks of use. I mean actual glow, not shine. I haven't noticed any line reduction but skin this glowy I don't care, I'm sticking with this one.

Perfect for my skin

Love this stuff and happy that LovelySkin carries it! It does resurface skin, so can cause areas of dryness. I put it on after cleansing and toning at night and make sure I rinse it off in the morning due to the sun exposure/sensitivity. I think this helps keep my skin fresh, especially in between my face peels. If my skin shows too much dryness I back off for a couple days and focus on exfoliating and hydrating. Keeps skin healthy looking. Have used this for years.

Magic product

I received the Refiner Skin Radiance Soothing Cream last year as a gift from LovelySkin and tucked it away in my "maybe I’ll use it drawer." I ran out of my regular nighttime product after my Retin A, and I figured I’d give it a try. All I can say is WOW! I have great skin for a 72-year-old woman. Amazing Product–Will Shrink Pores–not irritating

This product is aptly named as being a "Skin Radiance Smoothing Cream." I received a full size complementary sample from LovelySkin last fall and have been using this product at night with great results. First, let me say that my skin is very sensitive and usually I don't do well with glycolic acid products because they make me red and flaky. This is the only AHA (glycolic) product that I've ever tried that does NOT irritate my skin. It must be due to the formulation with the RHA (resistant hyaluronic acid). When I use this at night, I wake up with smaller pores and radiant, moisturized skin. Glycolic acid is known to be excellent for improving fine lines too. I will continue to buy this product when it goes on sale!

Use with an essense or serum first

It turned out to be a fantastic product, but it turns out that I need to use an essence prior to using it. I haven't had much luck in the past with hyaluronic acid products previously I was hoping this would work better because it mixes Teoxane's Resilient hyaluronic acid (RHA) with 10% glycolic acid. I think my skin is dry enough that when I apply hyaluronic acid it doesn't trap in much moisture - I need to add moisture so that the RHA has something to "trap." Once I added a Koh Gen Do essence that I purchased previously at LovelySkin, this Teoxane product worked beautifully (I imagine that a number of different essences would work). I'm giving it 4 stars because I still have to use an additional product. I worry that using more than one product means that the 1st product creates a barrier and that some of the 2nd product doesn''t get absorbed. But the performance of the TEOXANE RHA Skin Refiner Skin Radiance Smoothing Cream seems to be enhanced rather than lessened by using my essence.
