I had my eye on this before the sale, but when LS slashed another $50.00 and more free gifts along with it, I jumped on it. I don't regret it a bit. Like the other review, I had been receiving 30 minute sessions with the Deesse mask at a spa to see if I thought LED low-level light therapy would work. It has (I still have 3 more sessions with the mask) and I want more. I don't have the typical adult acne, but since I have over-oily skin and bacteria which causes itchiness, I thought I'd try the blue light. I think it's working. Lots of bad stuff is now peeling away. I will post a follow up if this turns out to be the solution I think it will eventually be. I have only had the light for 4 days. I use it for more than 5 min. per session since the doctor is safely giving me 30 min. sessions. I use it a total of 30 min. per day--2 sessions of 15 min. I don't mind that it shuts off after 5 minutes. It helps me keep track of how long I've used it.

I use it several times a week for five minutes per session, and it helps prevent flare ups, and when I do get a small outbreak somewhere on my face I use the light, and it clears up by the next day. I've even used it for some acne on the back of my neck. My husband uses it too when he gets a pimple or even an ingrown hair. It works. We are both in our 40s. Some reviews have complained about the small head size, but I don't see that as an issue. The light beams over your whole face.
