Blackheads be gone!

My dermatologist recommended I get this tool because I had skin cancer surgery on my nose and some of the pores enlarged in the healing process and became blackheads. You have to apply pressure when using it (ouch) but it does the job.

While great for small pimples, it does nothing for my tougher blackheads. The whiteheads come out pretty easily with it, but my blackheads seem to be too tough or deep for it to actually work and applying it only hurts my skin. Have not been using it a lot due to irritated skin around my blackheads and increased breakouts in those areas.

Not seeing the quality?

The product is a lot shorter in length than I would have imagined and was difficult to grip tight in the hand when applying pressure. More so because the opposite loop is in my plam and I was afraid of damaging it. The large loop continually wanted to bend and after about 10 days it came out of the base. It looked like it was glued in or held in with a small wedge of rubber. It did its job removing blackheads, however you do have to apply a lot of pressure for some which can damage the skin if not careful. It bends the loop for sure. The small loop could have been a little larger to accommodate for larger pimples. It's so tiny I can't see what I'm doing from an angle and if I'm centered over a whitehead either. Again had to apply pressure and found that this small rounded sucker could do more damage to the skin than the other loop. I watched Dr Pimple poppers technique over and over. I was very careful, but like in her videos, some are just stubborn and you have to get it all. That small loop hurt on top of a large pimple. Overall, the tool does its job, but I don't see the quality in it. The other thing to note is that I suffered really bad breakouts on my nose and in the areas that I was using the tool the most. Yes, I cleaned the tool and I cleansed my face with some really good products by Eminence that I have been using for some time now that you can also purchase on this website. Good luck to All!

Not for me

I ordered this product, because I struggle with blackheads, and the reviews were all great. However for me it did not work. Either I was to rough or my skin was too sensitive. I had red marks where I had attempted to use the tool. I would also like to add that I am currently using Tertinoin cream 0.1% by Obagi.

I like this tool. I did not realize how easy it was to clear visible blackheads, without pinching skin. I noticed that it is still important to be gentle, using this tool on stubborn whiteheads. I wish I would have had one of these tools, as a teenager. Necessary tool for every make-up kit.
