I love Obaji products but…
I use several of the Obagi products & have used them for years & swear by them, but after using the eye cream I wouldn’t buy it again. It made my under eye area excoriated & scaly after continued use. That being said, I have very sensitive skin; I just must have reacted to something in the ingredients. It was creamy & absorbed readily so I’m certainly not dissing their products. It is a great skin care line. That’s why they offer different skin care programs, right? And that’s why I’ve chosen Lovely Skin for all my derm products for years now; they have something for everyone’s needs.

This cream seemed lovely but I have a reaction to something in it. Strong burning sensation after a few minutes. Not sure which ingredient. Also the small pot of it is hard for me in an eye cream I think, it is easier in a tube or pump bc of the small amount needed daily.

I have been using it for a few months and am not impressed. I haven't noticed any huge improvement in terms of fine lines, but it leaves my skin around my eyes very dry and makes it hard to apply my concealer in the morning. I have to use it at night only. Truly a disappointment because I read all the reviews and this product seemed to be exactly what I was looking for as it related to my target areas. The only thing I will say COULD POSSIBLY be true by using this product is the de-puffiness of the upper eyelid. I've always had eyelids that are very much noticeable but when my eyes are puffy, you can barely see any of the eyelid. Since I started using this eye cream, it appears that every single day when I wake up, my eyelids are completely visible! The only other factor that I can say may have been the reason why, is simply a diet that did not have any salt, on any given day. I don't add salt to food so when I do eat any relevant amount, my eyelids tend to be more puffy in the am.

Drug Store Quality
I've used mostly high quality eye creams for over 30 years I'm 50 yrs old). Every now and then I try a drug store brand (here in the US). For the cheaper US drug store brands I go through them much faster and they never feel like they moisten or calm my eye area. Unfortunately this brand feels like many of those cheaper brands. Some days I had to apply it twice just to feel like I was getting some benefit. So back to my usual brand, which costs about 4 times more, but also lasts 4 times longer with immediate benefits. This cream has a weird smell and is making my eyes puffy in the morning when I wake up. I’ve also gotten a couple sore pimples on my eyelids.
