I’ve been using the Obagi system for almost 10 years with excellent results. I use steps 3,4 and 5 with retinol regularly. I had used other products on my hands without complete success, so I was looking for a new product. This one works, but it takes time, since it can only be used at bedtime due to our extensive hand washing routine. I am seeing real results on my second bottle, so don't expect a miracle. It takes some time, but it does work. I have used samples of a discoloration treatment from a different brand underneath it when they are available, and I think that accelerates the process. I will be buying this Obagi product again and again, as with all these aging issues, the dark spots will come back if I discontinue use.

My Dermatologist suggested that I should try Obagi after my IPL treatments and there was such a great improvement in my skin. That was some time ago and I now find I’m having the same problem so I want to go back to Obagi and try again. I started with the Exoderm, next I went on to the Clear, for which I am writing this review, and now I need to start on the Blend. I am seeing improvement but have a ways to go. I am going back on Obagi gradually to make sure I can achieve the same results.

I wanted to use something that was hydroquinone free during my breaks from hydroquinone, so ordered this. This made my skin itch and face and eyes puff up to the point that I looked unrecognizable. I couldn't leave the house for 3 days due to this embarrassing puffer fish look. I've never had sensitive skin or had allergies, but apparently a few others have been allergic to an ingredient in this. I am requesting to return it.
