The TNS Advanced+ Serum is very effective but when combined with other facial products, including those from SkinMedica, it flakes and has to be brushed off. Letting the serum dry before applying other products did not make a difference for me. I will continue to use the serum because it is so good for my skin but I dislike how it flakes when used with other products.

I am on my second container of this popular serum. My dermatologist recommended it because I have some sensitivity to retinoids. I generally like SkinMedica's products. I use the .25% retinol and even that can be irritating. So I like the TNS because I feel like I am being pro-active by using growth factors. I only use it once a day, but it has not irritated my skin. How effective is it? I can't really say to what degree it works. I do not have fine lines and wrinkles. I have skin laxity in my lower face. It has not changed that, but I do notice that my face seems fuller and more plumped and my skin texture looks good. So, as long as things are looking good and not getting worse, I figure they are working pretty well and I will continue to purchase. I am in my late 60s.

The original TNS was better that is why I gave only 4 stars. Still this does work well for my aging skin. I have some sun damage and I feel this helps keep it from getting worse. Amazing Serum, but needs a better dispenser
This is a wonderful product and does everything it says it will do. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because of the pump dispenser. I am on my 3rd bottle, and 2 of the 3 have had faulty dispensers. This is very frustrating, SkinMedica, because if someone is going to purchase this expensive product, which is amazing, it would be nice to be able to get it to work and/or dispense the way it should from the bottle. It has a pump that dispenses two serums simultaneously for the product to give the promised results, but the way the pump is currently designed, it doesn't always work, which is most of the time. I had one bottle that worked the way it should, and the product came out in one pump in even amounts. The other two bottles I have had, the pump would not dispense in an even amount. One serum is clear and the other is white, so it's easy to tell if the pump is working as it should. If a consumer is going to pay this much for skin care, then please fix this problem.

Great serum, faulty dispenser design
I absolutely love this duo-serum, and would easily give the product a 5-star review, but the constant struggles I have with getting it out of the container are about to make me call it quits. I usually have to get my husband to remove the top to prime the pumps (as per troubleshooting instructions). Even he has a lot of difficulty removing the top, and one time, we had to return the product because we still couldn’t get it to work. Please improve this design so I don’t have to give up this product.

This is a top notch product that I have used for past three years. It keeps my mature dry skin looking ten years younger. I’ve read other reviews in past complaining about pump not working properly. I must of been lucky in past until now. I received my new bottle the other day, happy to have it. Very disappointed. It only dispensed on the cream side, no serum! I believe this product is so good because of dual products and for such a hefty price tag, this pump should work. SkinMedica should go back to drawing board and fix. Not sure if I will take a chance next time. Bummer.
