Effective, but drying
I haven't used this much yet, but it seems to control acne as expected. However, I notice that it dries out my skin so much that I peel. Some people might like the drying effect.

Clear skin begins with PCA Acne Treatment Gel
This was a very good choice for those that didn’t want something that would be super irritating. Now keep in mind anything with salicylic acid and other acne fighting products do have a bit of a sting sometimes: this is only for those with super sensitive skin. I had some redness but expected that as I needed to clean out some weir breakouts! The great thing however is salicylic doesn’t dry the oil glands up the way other acne products due. This calms the skin from further blemishes and prevents over production of oil, black heads and white heads. There was a bit of peeling which means that my skin needed to get rid of dead cells that were clogged causing breakouts! If it gets to drying I used the PCA post peel moisturizer as it’s super gentle. Cheers to happier clearer skin!

Effective but flakes itself
This gel seems to have a tendency to turn into a watery texture when applied on the face. However, it does not spread that well and sometimes makes pilling with itself, which is kind of frustrating. It is still effective on non-stubborn pimples, so I think it's probably better to be used topically instead of on the entire face.

On the heavier side for a gel serum
I purchased this product because of the reviews and high salicylic acid content. The gel serum is a bit too heavy for my preference (it feels heavier on the skin when compared to other salicylic serums I’ve used that sink in to the skin more), and I really didn’t see any noticeable results,

The product has a gel like consistency and leave my skin rather shiny. Use this very sparingly especially when applying other products to your skin. I can't say for certain how well it works since I use other acne fighting products (i.e. cleanser and serums) in conjunction with it.

A little pump goes a long way!
I am not a fan of pump applications but I find that the formula behind this acne gel really works for me particularly for whiteheads. One pump is enough for me to dab on any problem areas I have. Dries quickly and clear (only if you put a little otherwise it does leave a bit of a light yellowy/orangey film but not unsightly only if you rub off on tissue).

Great spot treatment that doesn't dry skin
I started using this product in my second trimester of pregnancy. With my pregnancy, I had a lot of problems with my skin. The acne serum does a pretty good job of keeping my skin clear, but most importantly never dries it out. A good addition to the other PCA products I use.
