My eyes are very sensitive. This is the only eye cream I can wear. It really is soothing as well as moisturizing. My concealer sits very well on top of it without pilling. I did see that this had fragrance before I ordered it; however, I assumed it'd be subtle in a product that's specifically for compromised, irritated skin. Unfortunately, this has a strong, floral scent. This is the last thing I'd want to put on tretinoin skin. I downgraded this to a body lotion, and I don't even like it for my body. It's fairly lightweight, somewhat greasy, and the scent doesn't dissipate. I adore Avene, but I'll be sticking with their Xeracalm Balm (thick, sinks in, super soothing).

I wanted to try a retinol-type product, and this got very good reviews. And now I know why! It's gentle enough to use every night, but I saw subtle improvements in less than a month :-) The scent is very mild, and the cream is rich enough that I didn't need to use a moisturizer afterwards. It caused no irritation or redness, either. I'll use up this bottle, but I've already purchased the Avene RetrinAl 0.1 to step up my routine (fingers are crossed that it's as good as the RetrinAl 0.05!).

I don’t wear makeup and my sunscreen isn’t very oily so this cleanser works wonderfully for me. I use a decent amount to really work it into the skin and clear away the day, rinse, then gently wipe my skin with a clean face cloth. You may need to double cleanse if this cleanser isn’t getting everything on your face off the first go. So gentle and so soothing. I am very acne prone and this hasn’t broken me out. Doesn’t sting my super sensitive skin either.
