Sometimes, I layer it atop my makeup and at other times when I plan to be outdoors, I layer it on top of another sun block such as the Epionce Daily Sun Shield or SkinCeuticals Physical Fusion. This combo keeps me from getting any sunburn or tan, even at a water park! Wish I had started this regimen decades ago!
