I’ve been using this product for years and I was so happy to see the brand carried at lovely skin! I use this booster every morning as my first step after cleansing and it really helps to prep the skin for serums and moisturizers, wears super well under makeup. It’s not my “stranded on island and you can only pick one product” favorite, but I always reorder when I’m running low so it’s a keeper.

It's safe to use in rinse-off products, but shouldn't exceed 2% in leave-on formulations. It can make hair and skin dry, so it's not recommended for dry skin types. It can also cause acne on highly sensitive skin. Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate - Icky WHAT-IT-DOES: surfactant/cleansing A versatile and biodegradable cleansing agent with high cleaning power and strong foaming properties. Unfortunately, these two properties for a surfactant usually mean that it is harsh on the skin, which is the case here as well.

I decided it was time to get a retinol and after reading the ingredients and reviews chose this one. It is powerful. One needs to ease into it. Probably best paired with a good day moisturizer to keep dryness as one's skin adjusts from being too dry in places. The scent is light and pleasant. I have very sensitive skin and eyes and it always feels good on and although I avoid the eye area, many products will still irritate my eyes but not this. It has dramatically smoothed and improved the texture of my skin.
