When visiting my daughter in Charlottesville, Va (tho I live out west now) I still return to my favorite place - Signature Medical Spa & always take the advice of Head Esthetician, Linda Pitt. She recommends both these products for skin that has been abused in my youth with sun damage along with procedures in the clinic. The Brightening Complex & Serum have made strides in my skin tone & clarity as I continue to use Brightening Complex in the am & Brightening Serum in the pm. Highly recommended for brightening & smoothing out skin tone.

I've been a long standing fan for decades of another famous vitamin C serum on your site. However, this serum has now won me over. I get 20% vitamin C antioxidant protection and defense but in a time-release formula, so it's gentler on my skin. I'm also getting enzymes and fruit acids for gentle exfoliation. I decided to try this product after noticing sun spots on my face and hands. After 2 weeks, the spots were less noticeable on my face, and my hands were a little brighter. The product will make your skin dry, so I highly recommend using a moisturizer on top of the serum. Always allow 10-15 minutes for the serum to penetrate into the skin before applying the moisturizer!

I'm surprised that, according to reviews, this product worked for others with very fair skin -it is way too orange for me. For as minimal as the coverage is, this sunscreen feels heavy and sticky. It does offer good sun protection though. Definitely a miss overall for me, although I love other products from iS CLINICAL!
