Love this moisturizer!

I like to have a moisturizer without any irritating actives in it so I can use it with anything. And the Skin Recovery Balm is my favorite! I have dry skin and this makes my skin sooo soft. It locks in moisture and feels very soothing. Never ever ever discontinue this Avene! I buy it whenever I find it on sale so that I never run out. There is also a crème version which is not as thick if you prefer a lighter moisturizer.

It's the Bomb!

I just ordered this Balm recently. I have been using the Skin Recovery Cream as my moisturizer. While the cream is great, I think the balm is thicker and more luxurious. I wish I would have bought it for the winter months. Sometimes when my skin feels extremely dry, I use the cream under the balm. I have no pilling after adding SPF and foundation. I have mild rosacea and this product didn't bother my skin. I will be buying it again.

I’ve been using this Balm by Avene for years… it is The only thing that saves my skin from drying out in the winter months!!! Soooo NOURISHING. This cream has true balmy texture but my skin absorbes it nicely. On the bad side it gives me headache and irritates the skin where I damaged the skin barrier. Overall, I really disappointed with the whole new Tolerance line from Avene which should be helping to restore the damaged skin but instead makes it even worse.

This balm moisturizer is a replacement for a discontinued cream, which I loved. This moisturizer seems to be working as well as the discontinued cream. I only gave it 4 stars because the pump delivery system has stopped working and I am only half way through the product.

I used to use the avene tolerance extreme cream, but it was discontinued, so I switched to this. I like this so much better!! It’s much more hydrating, but absorbs so much faster. Layers well over products and under sunscreen/makeup. My new favorite!

Inflamed my skin overnight

Unfortunately, this didn't work for me. I have very sensitive rosacea skin and wanted to try a gentler option from the heavier moisturizer I normally used. I applied this only once the night it arrived and everything felt - and looked - fine. The next morning I awoke to inflamed cheeks. I use this as my eye cream

While I have quite oily skin, the area around my eyes can become quite irritated and flakey. I have been looking for an eye cream that could help alleviate this problem, but nothing ever seemed to work. I have recently discovered Avene skincare products and I am really liking them. I decided to order this balm to use around my eyes at night and it worked! I had a flakey patch of skin on one of my eyelids and this has really helped that issue.
