The Cicaplast Gel B5 is a light silicone gel that does spread easily and leaves a barrier on the skin to prevent moisture loss. It has very good soothing and anti-inflammatory ingredients such as copper gluconate, panthenol, madecassoside, as well as hydrating hyaluronic acid. I like this gel very much.

Disappointing

I am a fan of La Roche-Posay but find the Cicaplast Gel B5 a big disappointment. It just sits on top of the skin and never absorbs. I am sticking with the original Cicaplast Balm B5 which is an all time winner in my book.
