Very hydrating cream
I love this product because it is great for very dry sensitive skin like mine. On clean skin I use the Avene Thermal Water, and while it is wet I put the Extreme Emulsion on first and then I use the Hydrance cream on top of that. This combination provides me about 9 hours of great hydration. Great product!

I have decided that this particular Avene cream is by far the best moisturizer I have tried. Better than other Avene products for my particular skin anyway. My skin reddens easily due to rosacea but this has NO irritating qualities like some moisturizers. I also use a retinoid and this seems an absolutely necessary accompaniment to it. It is rich and a little goes a long way. I have used it for at least 2-3 years and hope it never is dropped from their line of products!!

I love the Avene line of products. This particular Optimal Riche cream is really, really thick. So thick it is hard to spread out on my face. I am using it for hand cream and it works great and my hands are soft. I guess if you have really dry skin it may be a good match for you.
