The texture is so smooth and luxurious. It’s much gentler on my skin than vitamin C which sometimes burns. I’ve been using vitamin C on the left side of my face and this serum on the right side and I’ve had less irritation on the right side and the same results at the vitamin C in terms of brightened complexion and reduction of acne scars.

Gentle, but Effective
This serum will fade dark spots, but not at the same level (or as fast) as one containing hydroquinone. But since we should be avoiding that anyway, I really like this serum. It also doesn't bleach out your skin like some chemicals will. I have tried other Caudalie products before and found them sort of "meh," but this is a winner.

I have been using Caudalie’s Vinoperfect serum for years, and I always come back to it even after trying something new. The formula is light, milky, and smells amazing. I use the serum after toning my skin and it does add a bit of moisture but you do need to use a moisturizer afterwards (I have combo/oily skin). I’ve noticed a smoother, more radiant complexion with gradual fading of my acne scars. This serum is gentle and soothing to my skin which can sometimes feel sensitive from the retinol that I also use. If I had the money I would bathe in this stuff!!
