I have very dry skin and need a rich lotion. This one is very good, but I don't like the smell and probably won't buy again for that reason. It's meant to be scent - free, but there's something I can't put my finger on...I wondered if maybe the tube I got was old and "off." If you are familiar with CeraVe you will LOVE this EltaMD product. True to its name it is very moisture rich and has a lovely texture that melts into your skin. The scent is scant (if you're familiar with Dove white soap that soap has more of a smell) if noticeable at all and it is definitely for those with super dry or sensitive skin. My dermatologist was quite intrigued when I showed it to her. As it is not as widely available as CeraVe this may not be a brand everyone knows but once you'll try it you may never look back. My one complaint is the tube format. Tubes always mean some waste (think toothpaste). Hopefully EltaMD will consider a larger format like a tub.
