I've been using this product for about a month now and have seen no difference. It's very expensive for how much you get. Maybe I'll feel differently in another month, but as of now, I don't think it was worth the price point.

I was trying to replace the now discontinued Jan Marini Bioglycolic Hand & body lotion, 4oz. This was more expensive for 1/4 of the product, and it comes out looking like makeup in color. It doesn’t make a difference overnight like I was used to! Very bizarre. Won’t buy again. Jan Marini, bring back the Bioglycolic Hand & Body Lotion PLEASE!!

Updated Jan Marini Illuminate Hand
I used to use Jan Marini Illuminate hand and loved it. It helped with the texture of my hands, leaving them looking younger and also helped fade dark spots - though of course that takes time. ReNu Corrective Hand Complex seems to up the updated version, though a smaller quantity at a higher price. The new pump bottle is helpful compared to the tube Illuminate came in. I'll have to see over time if it performs as well, but am hopeful. However, the price vs quantity change is something to take into consideration. If it works, I'll continue using it. I have no idea exactly how the two formulas differ, but since the 90s I've found that JM products continue to evolve and are certainly effective. Another review mentioned the smell, I've just taken a sniff but don't find it to be annoying at all, and I'm scent sensitive in general. I've also found the smell fades pretty quickly but every person's preferences and aversions vary.

Don’t see any improvement
I’ve used at least half of the tube and haven’t seen any improvement of brown spots. Also, it has a strong fragrance that gives me a headache. I’m determined to use all of it since it was expensive, but will not buy again.
