After continuously hearing rave reviews about this product I decided to give it a try. I have long fine hair that tangles easily so I was in the market for a product that would strengthen and reduce breakage. I have to say this product truly does everything it says it does. My hair is not only stronger after only a few uses but it also is shinier and the ends are much healthier with less split ends. This stuff works magic!! I over bleach and dye my hair, I use heat tools.. general lifetime abuse of my thin but plentiful hair. On the recommendation of my IG peeps @goalstogetglowing, I tried this... I thought she was insane to NOT put conditioner on my dry hair. BUT I followed the directions and am super impressed. My hair is less frizzy when I air dry and when I blow dry/curl, the style stays put longer.

I ordered two more bottles as backs rock before I wrote this review, because I have a feeling this will be sold out frequently in the future. IT IS INCREDIBLE. I have long, blonde (colored), coarse, thick, wavy, dry, brittle hair. I’ve used another systems multipart “numbered” treatment for years and it did help some with the health of my hair. BUT K18?! A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT LEVEL. I’ve used it 4 times (I only wash my hair every 7-10 days) in the last month and everyone keeps telling me how long and healthy my hair looks. Actually delivers results
After much research and reading other people’s results I finally took the plunge. I have long, naturally curly, medium-thick hair that is compromised from hard water and use of color/highlights. I don’t wash my hair daily (hair stylist’s advice) so I wasn’t sure how long it would take to see/feel results. I have applied this 4 times now and have some observations. The mind-blowing part is this product is applied to shampooed/towel dried hair. You are NOT supposed to condition so the K18 can directly affect the hair shafts. Trust the process, it works. Even though my hair is extremely tangled without conditioner, it is easily detangled with a dollop of this product. I use a pump on each section, finger raking and then brush through at the very end. (The first application I used too much, 1.5 pumps/section. You will need less if your hair is shorter or not as compromised.) Let it sit for 4min then continue on with styling. My hair remains softer longer and still holds a curl! I even like the curl pattern without my usual styling products! I will definitely repurchase. Side note: b/c this makes the hair smoother, my roots are very flat. I definitely have to root clip while drying. Also, others have reported there are 51 pumps of product.

Make sure you follow the application instructions carefully, you don’t want to waste a drop (use a clarifying shampoo before first application and do not use conditioner prior to applying K18).

This truly works! I had some damage due to some at home shampoo in hair color that I bought online….should not have used it after the first wash. It really thinned out my hair strands and made them brassy. It’s growing out now but I didn’t want to chop all my hair off. After a couple uses of k18 I could really tell a difference! The cuticle seemed to fuse together and be much smoother! I’ve only had to do minimal trims now! I have fine straight hair. It does take a bit to figure out how much to use. Less is more. I think you have to have truly chemically or heat damaged hair to see the results. It’s pricy. But it will last me a long time! After the first 6 times, I just use it in between as needed.
