Difficult to Apply. Not Liquid
I have used this product many times in the past from my hair salon. Decided to order the larger size on lovelyskin and its almost impossible to use. Not sure if its the larger bottle size, as I have only tried the travel size, but the one I received is completely solid. Yes, you can put in hot water to melt but that takes way too long and too much thought. I don't want to prep my hair oil. Love the scent, but may be overpowering for sensitive individuals.

Eons ago I used the magnolia oil. It is strong but mainly used it on my hair when at the beach, which was lot. I think it did protect my hair from salt and sun and being in outside smell wasn’t strong. This one is different. For me, very sensitive to strong smells and the fact that before using it needs to be placed in warm water to melt. Does it help with dry hair? Yes - just plan ahead for a weekly treatment.

Turns to solid
I love this oil. I love the way it smells and it does soften my hair however it did solidify when it arrived in the mail. I live in Colorado. The product does say it solidifies when it is under 77 degrees. I would recommend to the seller to repackage this product if you know it turns solid. I have to run it under hot water to get it out of the glass bottle to use it. Unsure if the heat damages the product and it is a bit inconvenient. That is the only reason for the 2 stars.

I love the smell of this! I’ve been using it maybe every other wash (apply 10mins before hopping in the shower), and i wash my curly thick hair about once every 5ish days, and it’s helped moisten it & calm it. Like a conditioner you put on first! Helps keep my frizz down & lessen the dryness, especially after a few days of product application between washes. I just put it in front of my heater vent for a few minutes to melt it since it is fairly solid under 70*.

Best hair oil for swimmers
I'm a lap swimmer so my hair has a tendency to dry out. I now apply this oil over slightly moistened hair to protect it (moistening the hair first also protects it and also allows you to use less oil). The oil does harden when temps are cool (typical of my climate even in summer). So I just fill the sink with a little warm water and let it sit for a while. Since I live in a water-stressed climate, I use that sink water to moisten my hair before applying the oil. The fragrance of the oil is amazing! Love it!
