Excellent Retinol
I have used retinol for many years (turning 40 next year)- both prescription and medical grade versions such as Skinmedica. I was having issues with breakouts a few years ago and discovered the website cosdna which rates how acnegenic or irritating products can be. I realized that my old retinol could have been causing acne. I went on a deep dive to find an effective retinol that would be powerful, but not cause me to breakout. I was so happy to find Obagi- it scored really well on cosdna. After tweaking a few other products, I have not dealt with breakouts since. I love that this retinol is effective and doesn't cause me to break out.

It took some adjusting to the higher strength but I weaned myself in slowly and just as my doctor said, the blemishes stopped. Bonus, my pores look smaller and my skin is softer.
