I guess you can call me a vitamin A junkie... I feel like I’ve tried them all. This will give you all of the amazing benefits of a retinol, but without the irritation. I purchased the Oasis “Calm” (the lowest strength) and quickly realized that I could jump all the way up to the “renew” which is their highest strength vitamin A. Prescription strength Tretinoin was way too harsh on my skin and I didn’t like the peeling in between nights. This can be used twice a day for maximum benefits. I will never stop using this product.*** If you want to enhance the absorption, spray the oasis peptide mist onto your skin with the renew and massage until fully absorbed. This formula has an orange tent. You will know that you’ve massaged it totally into the skin when your skin is no longer orange. Don’t walk... RUN AND ORDER THIS.

Retinal products are one of the mainstays of aging skin care and this one seems promising. I tried it after receiving a sample and trying a different Osmosis product with good results. I have never had a problem with irritation from any retinal serum and so didn't expect that effect, nor did I experience it. I do like the consistency, texture and immediate appearance of my skin following application. I am hopeful that longer term benefits will be visible in 3 months or so.

I have used pretty much every retinaldehyde out there. For over 3 decades, mind you, I have tried everything as well as eat clean (organic) drink lots of water, and eliminated sugars from my diet. Nothing comes close to the results without side effects as RetinAl, which a patent is being applied for, as we speak. This is retinal with an “A” not an “O” on the end, as retinaldehydes lose their effectiveness as they transform down the retinaldehyde chain...with retinol being 500 times weaker than RetinAl, and with all the goodies added into this...a very welcome change to the alternative, lab-created Retin-A with various nasties added into that prescription formulation, along with very drastic side effects. This retinAl is offered in 4 levels, with most preferring to end up (after graduating in using the lowest levels first) at level 3 or level 4, depending on their skin needs. Like all retinaldehydes, caution must be exercised with diligent sunscreen use because all retinaldehydes strip your skin’s natural sun protection down to zero, while continuously revealing clearer and smoother skin each day. So, incredible results with that caveat. Also, it is best alternated every other day with a good glycolic toner, and spray your face with one of the Osmosis toners before applying the retinAl as it is best applied somewhat watered down with one of those toners, as using more Retinaldehyde does not make for better results, but rather more unnecessary drying of the skin, and burning. Retinaldehydes are used by celebrities like Jennifer Anniston and Reese Witherspoon for exactly the same reason we are...going under the knife is just not what we are looking for, but this is a much safer and more effective skincare alternative that can work synergistically with our own skin, making it healthier and with an added bonus of playing well with moisturizers and face oils applied right over it, without diminishing its effectiveness in any way whatsoever...so how great is that???

I started with the lower level of retinal serum with this brand and noticed some improvement in skin tone, texture, old scarring, and hyperpigmentation over 6 months of use. I have been using this higher level of retinal for about a month and feel it is continuing to improve my skin slowly - it just takes patience as it takes time to see results with all vitamin A products. My skin seems overall more glowy and fine lines are slightly reduced. This caused ZERO irritation and I can even put it around my eyes. I only took off one star for the cost, which is a lot for 30 ml.

This Osmosis MD product is quite potent-like me, anyone that uses this in a dedicated fashion WILL see some great results! Whether or not someone wants to risk reacting to some of the unnecessary, sensitizing ingredients for them is another story, especially with far better retinol/retinal products on the market. For awhile there, I wasn't delving deeper into ingredients, and was ignorantly faithful to this product. I did indeed see good results: my skin was more firm with improved texture. But I can no longer be faithful to skincare products that have ingredients that are opposite of beneficial to my skin.
