I purchased this for my oily teenage son and he loves it. Says it’s the best stuff ever. I say if only the price point was better. It’s a bit high for the way he goes through soap. It’s very effective for oily acne prone skin. Definitely recommend for that.

Face wash was recommended by dermatologist. I have been using Revision face washes and their rinsing toner for a few years now. I use this face wash at night only, to help remove build-up from the day. Usually double cleanse, so start with oil cleanser then utilize this after. This facewash does not leave my face feeling stripped afterwards. The bottle lasts a long time as you only need a small amount to cleanse face. I have combination skin.

I like this cleanser. I use most of the Revision cleansers and rotate them depending upon what is going on with my skin. This particular cleanser is very good for around the nose/chin for oil removal. It rinses clean with no residue. I have sensitive skin and I have had no problems using this cleanser in my oily areas (just don’t get it in your eyes!)

I have used many cleansers over the years, I have combo T zone oil but recently over the winter my skin became drier. I love this cleanser because you use so little, get a good lather & it is the best @ getting the skin clean as I have evidenced this when I use my toner and there's absolutely no residual oil or makeup left after using. Great product. A little more harsh than my usual product, which is eminence açaí cleanser. But I had to get something more harsh because of the super hard water in Orange County where my other cleanser wouldn’t wash away. So, I only mention it to say it is more drying than other products. But a little goes a long way and it does a great job so it’s wonderful value.

Removes all makeup, even eye makeup!
I received a sample of this in my last purchase and finally gave it a shot. I currently use Philosophy and not in love, but it works ok, and in my opinion, most cleansers are similar in that they clean the face but not much else. Back to Revision Purifying Cleansing Gel, the first time I used it all my eye makeup was gone which never happens. I always have to go back with Bioderma and a cotton ball to remove additional. I tried again, and wow all makeup is gone, no need for a second routine. I don't have oily skin, but the fact it removes all of my makeup is good enough for me. Buying a full-size bottle today. Also has a nice smell and other than being an excellent makeup remover I did not notice any dryness or exfoliation, but I have other products in my arsenal for these areas.

I love Revision and use several of their products! I have very dry skin and also live in a dry climate. This cleanser was just not for me. It was just way too harsh for my skin. I’m sure it’s a great cleanser just know what skin type you have!

Excellent Oily Skin Foaming Cleanser
Very few oily skin cleansers pass the test for me. This is one of them. Really washes oil off and rinses squeaky clean. Beautiful clean scent makes me feel refreshed. The compact stylish bottle with a secure screw top is very good for travelling, but I just wish the product is available in a big size economical bottle with a pump for everyday convenience.
