This cleanser has only a slight exfoliating effect. It’s more creamy and contains very little grit. I wet my fingers and squeeze out a little of the product onto my fingers, rub it around in my hands then put it on my face. After rubbing it around to cleanse well, I leave it on for a few more seconds before splashing it off with water. I use it two or three times per week in the morning before applying serum and moisturizing. So far so good, but it’s simply a mild cleanser. I use a retin A product once per week at night, mixed in with my moisturizer, for more exfoliation results.

Too harsh of a cleanser
This is too harsh on my skin for daily use. Will go back to the LHA cleanser.

I usually use the SkinCeuticals LHA cleanser but since it is out of stock, I decided to try this clarifying exfoliating cleanser and it is just not the same! I feel that the exfoliating beads are too harsh for my face and I actually had my first breakout in years! The only change being the cleanser. I also don't feel like it leaves my face feeling as "clean" as the LHA cleanser.
