For my mature and sensitive skin, I like gentle cleansers--ones that don't strip my skin, but still actually clean my skin without leaving a residue. I clean with a sensitive micellar water makeup remover (sadly not available through LovelySkin). Then, I clean with Soothing Cleanser Foam. On days with no makeup, I just use this cleanser. In the winter, I wonder some days if this is too drying, but I am not sure that it really is; in the summer, I wonder if I need something a wee bit stronger, but why strip my skin. SkinCeuticals Soothing Cleanser Foam is just right. I keep a bottle in the shower which I use at every shower, and a bottle in my makeup drawer by the sink. These two bottles have lasted me about a year with daily use...quite a bargain, actually. I have tried so many cleansers, looking for a cleanser that would...do what?...clean my skin very gently, very thoroughly. And, I realized that I actually have that cleanser, and that there is no reason to search any further.

I love this cleanser. My skin is so soft and feels supple and moisturized after using this. I was using the SkinCeuticals Purifying Cleanser and it left my skin clean but red and feeling dry. This has helped with the redness and dehydration. I have oily skin and was so dehydrated but changing to this cleanser has done the trick. It does not irritate my sensitive skin either.
