My neck is very sensitive and prone to irritation but this product hasn’t caused any sensitivity. I also see my neck and chest slowly becoming smoother and firmer. The results weren’t as dramatic as when I was using the SkinCeuticals retinol on this area, but then again I had experienced a lot of irritation with that product on these areas. I’d also like to think that the SkinCeuticals Neck Repair is cost effective because I no longer have to use my nighttime treatments/moisturizer for my neck and chest!

Like all of SkinCeuticals skin care, I think this is a quality product. While certainly pricey, I think you get a lot for your purchase, both in the amounts as well as the effective ingredients. I also like that products are packaged in glass bottles & jars, and metal tubing for the Retinol Night treatment I am also currently using. I have not experienced any of the peeling or irritation mentioned in some reviews, although I did use it only once per day for a while, gradually increasing to both evening & morning. And I sometimes had used my Retinol night cream a bit on my neck along with another neck cream I had been using. I like SkinCeuticals better.

This is a creamy neck cream- but you definitely need to start slow. I haven’t seen crazy major changes yet but the ingredients can make it itchy if you use too much. It’s strong/ so start every few days and gradually add in more nights.

I found this cream a little harsh. After the first several uses my neck got raw and irritated with red patches. I backed off for a week, then when I attempted to use it again I slathered a thick moisturizer on top. It does seem to be effective at blurring neck lines so I will stick with it as long as the redness does not return.

I use a number of SkinCeuticals products and this one did not disappoint. However, I would caution that if you have sensitive skin, as I do, use this product sparingly and not every day. You need to let your skin get acclimated to it. I didn't heed this advice at first and ended up with a red, flaky neck. But the product is doing its job - just use it a couple of times a week.

I've only been using this a few months and it took a long time for my skin to get used to it. The retinol made my neck break out in little white skin tags that itched. I varied its use from once daily, twice a week to every other day, once a day, and then finally to twice daily. Works great BUT not for sensitive skin
I started using the product and noticed a difference within a couple of days. My neck skin definitely looked younger & smoother. However by the 3rd day my neck was itching and burning. I immediately stopped using it. I called LovelySkin customer service and the rep was wonderful. She told me the retinol can cause a reaction and that I should try to use it every 3rd or 4th day. Since I liked the way it worked the first couple of days I am trying that. So far that seems to be working. I still have a week or so before I can return it for a refund in case the itching returns. But definitely recommend it if you can tolerate the retinol - it really made my skin much younger looking.
