Horrible Allergic Reaction

I decided to use this scar gel after a surgery because I use several Skinceuticals products daily on my face and love them. I waited until my doctor advised it was ok to start a scar treatment. I began using this gel and had a horrible allergic reaction. My doctor had to put me on prescription steroid ointments for several weeks and it delayed my healing process. It was so bad and painful. I have been using this for about 6 months to see if it would lighten the redness from a surgical scar on my face. It is lightweight and goes on smoothly smoothly. It is a semi clear gel like formula. Little goes a long way so it should last me a long time. Unfortunately no significant improvement but I will continue to use it faithfully.

Surgical scars

I purchased this because I have a scar on my neck from a tracheotomy. It is a new scar that is still healing and I have only used this for about two weeks. I am using it on a scar that has a bit of a keloid to it on a different part of my body also. Both areas have only been treated the two weeks. I can not see a difference in either spot yet. Both feel more smooth than before, but that’s about it. Will update in 6-12 weeks.
