I decided to try StriVectin because a previous moisturizer I had been using was discontinued. I am pleased with the results and I didn't find this product to be drying at all and it was not irritating to my skin. It seemed to have a strong smell at first but it quickly dissipated. It goes on very smoothly and gets quickly absorbed. I just purchased a second tube and overall pleased with this product.

Unfortunately, this irritated my skin, so I won’t be buying it again. I recommend starting off by using it once or twice week. I applied it three days straight at the beginning, and my skin began to sting. I am using up the rest of this tube by applying a thin layer just a few times a week on my hands and face. I am glad I only bought the 1-ounce size.

Good but could have a better consistency

This is a very good skin preparation. I like it except for its consistency. Sometimes the oil from the cream separates and comes out separate from the cream. That makes it messy. I've tried shaking the bottle to mix it all together before squirting it out, and that sometimes helps but not always. Unfortunately, the bottle doesn't provide a telephone number to report problems with the product.

Lovely texture and non-irritating

I was looking for a nighttime retinol that was strong enough to do the job while also gentle. I got a sample of this and like the way it sunk into my skin without leaving a film so I bought the full sized tube and don't regret it. It's gentle and while I get regular laser treatments I can still use this without irritation. It helps to maintain the effects of anti-aging lasers. The only drawback to this, as with all of Strivectin's products, is the smell. They all have an icky smell but if you're going to sleep shortly after applying, it's not a big deal.
