I like the gel cream texture of this product which glides easily on the skin, but it is not moisturizing enough for under makeup. I would say It helps to firm the skin around the eyes but didn’t help with my dark circles. The other thing I didn’t like about this eye cream is the smell. When I rub it between my fingers, I can smell garlic.

I really like the texture of this product and the bottle/dispenser. I love how this feels going on and I love that it can be used under the eye and on the eye lid. It moisturizers nicely and isn’t too greasy but I honestly have not noticed an improvement in dark circles or crows feet. I wanted to love this, but as soon as I put it on a felt a burning sensation. It passed quickly but then the next day (and for several days after) I ended up with a rash under my eyes and dry and flaking skin for about a week. I have sunscreen/block products from EltaMD and don't have an issue so I was very surprised by this result. I was so hopeful that I tried again several weeks later and had the same result. This eye gel feels like a hybrid gel-cream. I was worried it would be more gel than cream, but has some substance to it without being too thick. Really easy to spread like a gel and put concealer on top without pilling or creasing. I really like the EltaMD pumps and do not find that too much comes out like other reviews of this product. But I have been using their pumps a long time and have gotten used to using the right amount of pressure, but not too much. I have extremely sensitive skin and this is one of the few eye creams that does not feel tingly around my eyes. I give 4 stars because while it feels good going on, I don't see any difference after using a few weeks and moisture does not last nearly as long as other, more hydrating products on the market.

Overall, I like this eye cream because it’s moisturizing but lightweight and doesn’t irritate sensitive eye area. I don’t think it’s been effective in reducing puffiness.
