Disappointed
The SPF 40 facial moisturizer was fine on its own. When I put my very light foundation makeup over it, my skin looked bumpy, not smooth. It might be fine by itself, for a younger person who doesn't use cc cream to even out spots and flaws on face. I tried the tinted elta MD, but the color was much to dark for my skin. So I am disappointed.

This face sunscreen moisturizer is amazing! And l tried a lot of them. I have sensitive skin and history of basal cell cancer on my face so sunscreen is a must. But this one is so transparent you would think its not zinc based but it is. It became my favorite in a heartbeat.

I use the sheer, as the tinted is a little off on me, but I usually top it off with some mineral powder/sunscreen and I am good to go. I have rosacea and have tried numerous (expensive) sunscreens that are either too oily or too thick. I finally found a dermatologist who recommended EltaMD UV Broad Spectrum SPF40 and said it was the one that she herself wore daily. I was thrilled to see that LovelySkin carried it because I trust products from LS. This one is a winner!! It is light and goes on and in quickly, does not interfere with make-up, and so far has been gentle enough for my rosacea not to act up. I think this will be a keeper for a while. LS sent a sample of the tinted product (thank you LS), but I really prefer the untinted which allows me to add my own makeup and color over it easily without any piling or buildup. Great product!!
