This line was recommended to me by my dermatologist years ago and I purchased all of the steps. This was my favorite product in the line - my skin felt softer and looked clearer. Then the Derm stopped carrying it and I couldn't find it anywhere. After looking online I found it at Lovely Skin and just started using it again. I use it in the morning and I like it. I gave it 4 stars because if I put SPF over it, it kind of pills - it looks like peeling skin. This didn't happen when I used to use it years ago so I am thinking maybe they changed the formula. I still like that it makes my skin soft. I am hoping it will clear pores and even out the sun spots - I know it takes a while to see these improvements.

The lotion is lightweight, glides on easily, and does not have any scent to it. I’ve been using a small pea size of this in the morning along with Obagi’s Nu derm Clear Fx for a month now. My goal was to lighten the hyperpigmentation on my face. While the larger dark spots have yet to fade, the smaller ones have definitely lightened. Also my boyfriend has commented on how smooth my skin is looking these days. I don’t know if this a result of using both products, but I’m going to keep up with this regimen. I do hope they will eventually lighten the larger dark spots on my face.

This product is more powerful than I realized! Initially, I wasn't sure if it wasn't doing anything for my face. However, after applying it one night, I wiped a small amount on the remainder on my neck and forgot about it. Later that night my neck became very itchy, and in the morning I had several burns on my throat and under my chin. The patches scabbed over and itched for about a week. Perhaps I've never had a reaction on my face because I use the Obagi retinol products and the skin on my face is more resilient. This may not be a product for people with very sensitive skin. Regardless, I am very careful to not let the product touch my neck, and I love that it exfoliates my face regularly and allows for better penetration of other products. I have aging skin, and people have complimented my on my skin since I started using this.

Consistent use is the key
My skin always has an extra glow after about 3 weeks to a month of using this. Whenever my skin feels dull and I think about what has changed (during Covid for example) I remember how much I like this. I use it nightly alone over a serum or two or as my final step (it can pill then, so I rub it in minimally). This does not work in the AM with simple sunblock over it. It gums up something terrible.
