This is a great option when I don't have time for a full face of makeup. The little bit of tint evens out my complexion nicely. I think I may try the matte next time, this leaves a little "shine" on my skin but nothing a little powder can't fix.

But after trying it for several weeks, I finally became accustom to the "non-heavy" look and feel. It gives you such a natural look. I do dab just a little loose powder over it to knock off the major shine....I've never liked my face shiny. I have been using it for about three years now. It gives you a natural look plus the important SPF protection. Give it a try! You may want to mix a tiny bit of your foundation with it at first and then gradually lose the foundation all together for a more natural look.

I purchased the full size product after receiving a sample, which worked very well. I hate to give a negative review but, this product is not meant for women with rich skin tones. It did not provide a glow at all. Instead, it made my skin look ashy...not a good look. If you have a darker skin tone, I would suggest trying a different tinted moisturizer.

My mother introduced me to this product. At the time I switched several months ago, I had been using Laura Mercier's tinted moisturizer for 10 years (I like to stick to what works). My skin is fair (usually have to get the lightest shade), combination, and generally have clear skin that is prone to hormonal breakouts and blackheads. I really liked Intellishade - it's thicker and feels heavier than what I'm used to with Laura Mercier's tinted moisturizer but that also translates to better redness coverage. The shade really did blend in well with my fair skin (and my mother's skin, which is a shade or two darker than mine). I especially love the glow it gives my skin and I use it both for day and night time. It sort of feels like some of the BB creams I've sampled, but less chalky. I make sure to wash my face after using it and I haven't had any breakout issues. The only complaint I have is that it is a little streaky when it first goes on and I have to give it a minute to settle before coming back and further blending in the product into my skin. I''m going to purchase the larger size when I''m finished with my current bottle, I definitely recommend this product to someone who wants a tinted moisturizer with sunscreen, and needs a little more coverage than other tinted moisturizers tend to provide.

I expected this moisturizer to have more coverage but it was truly the lightest coverage imaginable. Still, I felt good knowing I was wearing a moisturizer that was doing good things for my skin while still getting a little bit of a glow from it. My skin can get oily in the warmer months. I use this every day before I leave the house. It's a really great product. I tried this as a sample when I went to the dermatologist and really liked that it blended so nicely into my skin. I only like very light foundations anything that is heavy or matte makes me look older. So when they stopped making my foundation I just started using this instead. It doesn't cover the way a foundation does but it makes my skin look really nice. The only con it that it will leave a mark on your white collar so you need to use another sunscreen on your neck.
