I got a sample in the mail and applied it on a dry spot near my nose and it healed really quickly. I ordered the bottle, and did the same thing, not sure if it was close to expiration, but it did not end up working as well as the sample did. I would just stick to their daily moisturizer or triple lipid night cream.

With winter weather and my retinoid usage, I've found that this provides light but significant hydration in the AM along with my SPF. In the evening I use something more emollient which feels a bit too heavy for daytime.
