I like this as a cleanser when my skin has little bumps or a breakout because it cleans my skin well but it isn't really a scrub. It is a little gritty but doesn't really do anything. I prefer my scrubs to have a little more texture. But it is a good product just not one of my favorites.

This is a cleanser with some pretty serious exfoliation action: it foams AND has small beads AND contains alpha and beta hydroxy acids. For that reason, I only use it once or twice per week. More than that would be way too harsh for my aging, combination skin. When I wear makeup and sunscreen, I like to use it as a second cleanse (after an emulsifying cleansing oil) for a really thorough cleansing. You need a very small amount of cleanser, so a tube lasts a long time. I have very sensitive mature skin, and I’ve had no problems whatsoever using this once a day.
