I’m going to give SkinMedica 25% retinal five stars and if I could give it more I would give it more. I can use this product every single day because I am 54 years old however they don’t always recommend it to the majority of people but if use the 25% you can and let me say my skin is flawless and it’s all because of this product!! I have 70 year old skin, and have been using retinol for several years now. This retinol seems stronger than others I have used. I did get some irritation on my neck, so I am now using it every other night on my neck. It may be a little soon to say this is better than other retinols, but I am pleased with it thus far. Safe for sensitive skin prone to rosacea
I've been using this product for several years and I'm very happy with the results. I wanted a retinol serum but my skin is so very sensitive and prone to rosacea when exposed to certain products. I chose the lowest strength which is 0.25 because I thought the 1.0 and 0.5 would be too much for my sensitive skin. There are cheaper retinol products on the market, but a lot of them use containers that expose the contents to air and/or light which can potentially degrade the retinol. I am very pleased with the container used by SkinMedica because the integrity of the product is never compromised by air or light. The results of the 0.25 lower strength version are still fabulous and I'm never worried about getting rosacea while using it.
