How to Clean Your Makeup Brushes

One of the best things you can do for your skin is keep your makeup brushes clean. Makeup can be full of bacteria that could cause rashes and breakouts. In order to avoid bacteria buildup, it's best to clean them after each use with a brush spray. In addition, you should deep clean these tools with a brush shampoo at least once a month to remove any impurities.

How to properly clean makeup brushes: When using a spray, spritz the brush head and rub onto a clean towel until no makeup residue is left. To deep clean makeup brushes, wet the bristles and massage the cleansing shampoo into the brush and rinse until no makeup is left.
